The following, which is effective immediately, are four amendments to the JYC 1999 Race Circular for the following: 1. additional new courses of which some of them include the new Race Mark 15, and 2. the addition of more trophies for the non-spinnaker D class due to the increase in the number of boats after the beginning of the season and the wide PHRF spread.
Page 9, at the end of the "Turning Marks" paragraph, add the following:
Mark 15 is a white cylinder, with "JYC 15" lettering, which is atop a wider base – the Race Chart shows the approximate location which is N to NE of Potters Cove, about 4 houses North from Potters Cove.
Page 9, add the following to the end of the last sentence of the Course Chart paragraph:
"with the exception of the new courses 181 and above which are provided in amendment number one"
Page 17, 1999 Summer Series Notice, at the end of the PRIZES AND QUALIFICATION paragraph, add:
For the Non-Spinnaker Class only, fourth place will be awarded when at least eight boats qualify and fifth place if at least eleven boats qualify.
Page 33, add the following courses to the existing list of courses:
